Cycle I • GENTLE GENESIS
Richard Fischer celebrates the gracious development of flora, staging birth, life, and death in his first three cycles: Gentle Genesis, Floral Finesse, and Dying Divas. In Gentle Genesis, the viewer can reflect on the wonders of life in birth and experience the magic of every beginning.
Cycle III • DYING DIVAS
Dying Divas is not only a fascinating depiction of life´s final chapter, but also a tribute to an end. An end that is not an end in the absolute sense, for it hopefully allows the viewer to enter a mesmerizing, intricate world by creating lasting memories through very personal, visually riveting impressions.
Cycle IV • EBONY IVORY
With this captivating monochrome cycle, Richard Fischer recreates his unique floral images by focusing on the magical interaction between black and white. In these stunning photos, he condenses the sensual intoxication of colors to a minimalist concentration of motifs, dramatizing his artistic message in a riveting, memorable manner.
Cycle VI • PLANTS UNDER PRESSURE
In Alliance with some of the world’s largest collections of endangered flowers Richard Fischer is exclusively supplied with these well-treasured species for photographic assignment: Fischer’s concept covers a wide range of flora. Each specimen is unique in it’s beauty and many of them are threatened to extinction within a time period of just one generation.
Cycle VII • ABSOLUTELY ALIVE
New Immersive Art concepts are emerging, leading me to explore new dimensions in my artwork. It will commence with Absolutely Alive – an experiment that, hopefully, will provide the impetus for change, allowing the viewer to immerse and evolve with these living organisms. I am not sure how this will transpire or end, but on the other hand, it may not end at all…
