Due to Richards Asian heritage, Richard dedicated a series of his renown floral art work to his roots that once were established in Northern China some 100 years ago. German from descent his family emigrated from Europe to China at the cradle of the last Century.
The chinese script at the right bottom side is Richards name in Chinese. The director of the Ningbo Museum of Art gave a stamp with his name engraved to Richard as a gift, during the opening of Chinas largest floral photographic art exhibition, a solo exhibition with more than 70 images in 2009. Altogether Richard has held 5 exhibitions in China so far.
